I am Olga, a sexologist and a wax play master. I have practised wax play since 2016, and I love it.

Why I made these candles

As a master, I care about every part of the experience: the quality of the materials, how the wax lands on the skin, its flow and texture, how the candle sits in the hand without slipping, and a range of temperatures to choose from, depending on the mood and the effect I want.

I could not find candles like that in Europe. So I made my own.

How I made them

I made them with the help of my own wax play master, who is also a cosmetic chemist. She helped me find the materials in Europe and build a recipe for each temperature. It took us about two months. We checked every ingredient, so that they all work together and are safe for skin.

My idea

My idea was simple: to make something that is exciting to explore with, beautiful, comfortable and safe.

  • Exciting to explore. Six temperatures, from 50 °C to 75 °C, from soft warmth to sharp, bright heat. Different temperatures give different sensations, and every session can feel different.
  • Beautiful. For me wax play is not only about sensation. As a master, I want to see not only how a person responds, but also the patterns the wax draws on the body. That is why every candle has a colour I love, and shimmer.
  • Comfortable. A ribbed body that does not slip in your hand. One candle, one temperature, one colour, one scent, so you never mix them up. The temperature is written on the bottom of every candle. The candles are big and have three wicks, so the wax keeps flowing and the practice stays dynamic.
  • Safe. It matters to me how the wax feels on the skin, not only how hot it is. So I use materials made for the body: paraffin from a medical supplier, plant waxes, cosmetic colours and scents, natural mica and cotton wicks.

Art on the body

Wax play feels to me like art on the body. Like a Buddhist sand mandala: you create it, and then you let it go. What stays is the memory of the sensation, and something new that you learned about yourself and your partner.

Made by a master, for everyone

I made these candles not only for masters. I made them for anyone who wants to explore. Wax play can make you fall in love with yourself again, and it gives you and your partner, or partners, a new way to explore your bodies and your sensuality.

Every candle is made by hand in Portugal.
