Shipping & Delivery
I make every SENSEME candle by hand in Portugal and ship from here. This page explains how your order travels to you.
Where I ship
- Portugal and the rest of the European Union
- European countries outside the EU, for example the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway and Serbia
- The United States, with DHL
If your country is not available at checkout, write to me at info@sensemewax.com and I will check what is possible.
Shipping cost
- Portugal: €10 flat rate
- European Union: €15 flat rate
- Europe outside the EU: €30 flat rate
- United States: $70 with DHL
The exact shipping cost for your order is always shown at checkout, before you pay.
Dispatch and delivery time
- Dispatch: I send your order within 3–5 working days
- Europe: CTT (Portuguese post), usually 4–6 days in transit after dispatch
- United States: DHL
Delivery times are estimates. Customs checks and local post can add a few days.
Packaging
Each candle is wrapped in paper and sits in a cotton pouch, with a SENSEME card. I ship in bubble envelopes, so the candles do not rattle.
Orders outside the European Union
For orders delivered outside the European Union (for example Serbia, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway or the United States), local customs may charge import VAT, duties or handling fees when the parcel arrives.
- These charges are set by your country and are paid by the recipient
- They are not included in my prices or in the shipping cost
- If you are not sure what applies, please check with your local customs office before you order
If a parcel is refused or not collected and comes back to me, the return shipping cost is deducted from the refund.
